Our Saviours Lutheran Church
Our Story: A Legacy of Faith and Community
Since our founding in 1885, Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church has been a vital part of Merrill, Wisconsin. Our story is one of faith, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to the Gospel. Established by immigrants from different nations, their faith was what united us. Over the years, the multi-ethnic body of Christ has been a place were the spiritual needs of all are met. We have grown into a sanctuary for all who seek peace and purpose in the North Woods.
As an ELCA congregation, our history is defined by the grace we have received and the grace we share. It is etched into the very walls of our sanctuary—from the vibrant colors of our stained glass windows to the echoes of countless hymns and prayers. We honor our heritage by remaining an open table for all souls, bridging our past with a future rooted in love and compassion. spiritual ways.
We invite you to be part of our unfolding story—a story of hope, ministry, and connection. Whether you have been with us for decades or are visiting for the first time, you are a vital part of the history we are writing together. We look forward to the many ways we will continue to love, serve, and strengthen our community for years to come.
